The strangeness spot selected for today’s post may not be too familiar to many Petalumans; including longtime residents. You really have to look for it when you are near the intersection of First & C Streets. The plaque, below, is fastened to the remains of a stone foundation next to the entrance to the Petaluma Yacht Club parking area.


Notice that the railroad tracks that cross the Trestle at Second & B Streets (Blog #10), run behind the foundation wall, through the Yacht Club parking lot, across C Street, and continue down First Street.
