Long time readers of the Petaluma360 website know that the new Sage of Petaluma is known for his use of acronyms (many of which he has created.) This usually happens during those twilight moments of gaining consciousness (3:00-4:00 a.m.) when he first wakes up. For example; this morning, the Sage of Petaluma II was reflecting upon the definition of a Sage and the word – WISE – popped up and immediately expanded to stand for: W = witty, I = intelligent, S = sensible, E = experienced.

Of course, not all WISE people are Sages (or is it the other way around?) The point, IMHO, is that good acronyms are not only real words, but it also takes a WISE person to understand their meaning. You might say that it takes a witty, intelligent, sensible, and experienced person to appreciate the acronym WISE.

Hmmm, now that I think about it, it might be WISE for this Sage to consider going back to sleep and wake up completely before he explains the meaning of another acronym.

NOTE: New readers will soon realize that this WISE Sage drives many of his friends mad with his WISE acronyms. Stay tuned for more acronyms, yet to come. Hopefully, they will be WISE.
