My latest blog for the Argus-Courier Petaluma360 site was posted over five months ago, on November 28, 2015. Now that my health has recovered and my energy level has improved, it is time to try and revive this blog site which was initiated over nine years ago. The various blog themes included Petaluma History, Emergency Preparedness, the Sages of Petaluma, and the Petalumans of Yesteryear.

Over 600 blogs were posted during the nine month period between March 21, 2006 and November 28, 2015. As I approach my 88th birthday in September, I can’t promise that I will continue that same pace of one blog per week; but, we will give it a try. Petaluma and its citizens have so much to be proud of over the years, and who knows what the future will generate?

The 15 themes, posted on the right side of this page, are still appropriate today and I will try and recapture your interest in how “our favorite river town” is still active with events and activities related to them as well as their significance in today’s world. We just might discover some new community ideas that will be of interest to our readers. Feedback is always welcomed. Where to begin is the question; so allow me some time to brush away the cob webs and reflect on our past as well as the future. “On your marks, get set, and go!” Stay tuned.
